Why We Started I-GLOBE – The Story Behind the Mission

Founded in 2009 by Kindzeka N. Bibirshu

In 2009, amidst growing conversations about Africa’s future and the promise of the digital revolution, Kindzeka N. Bibirshu envisioned something bigger — a future where no African is left behind in the emerging global digital economy.

He saw the challenges firsthand: limited access to digital tools, rising youth unemployment, exclusion from financial systems, and the digital divide that threatened to widen inequality. But where others saw barriers, Kindzeka saw an opportunity to rewrite the narrative. From that bold vision, I-GLOBE (Information Impact Globe) was born — not as a project, but as a movement.
