GOVERNANCE
I-GLOBE operates under a robust governance model that delineates policy setting, oversight, management and implementation roles across different bodies for organizational accountability. At the apex, the General Assembly comprising I-GLOBE members elects the Executive Committee to govern and provide strategic leadership. The Executive Committee in turn selects the Managing Director to handle day-to-day operations. To inform community-centered decisions, the Executive Committee is advised by Senior Beneficiary Representatives and an Advisory Committee. Complementing this leadership, the Management Assurance and Audit/Control Units enable organizational performance monitoring and policy compliance. Operationally, departments like Programs, Communications, Finance and Human Resources execute activities aligned to I-GLOBE’s mission under the Managing Director’s leadership. This multi-tiered governance and management structure allows I-GLOBE to set direction collaboratively, make decisions transparently, manage programs effectively and ultimately deliver impact for our beneficiaries.
Like any other organization, I-GLOBE is governed within a structure that is unique and ensures the attainment of it vision, mission goals and objectives. However, communication and governance as a whole is organized in the following 4 levels:
