Go DIGITAL Cameroon Concept Note
The Go Digital Cameroon is a campaign to promote the online Business, with Reference to:
- E-Commerce,
- E-Governance,
- Digital Education, and,
- E-Medical.
Which are Pillars of the I-GLOBE’s Vision, Mission, and Goals, and constitute the backbones of the Digital Economy.
This innovation is aimed at paving the way for all businesses both big and small including the government to reach out and satisfy customers, citizens, and communities online, maintaining and respecting social distancing rules put in place to fight and prevent COVID19.
Goal
Bring together ICT Stakeholders, Partners, and Policy Makers to help and re-define the Digital Technology Growth strategy and E-Governance in Cameroon
Objectives
- Raise Awareness on the Cameroon Digital Potentials
- Propose Avenues towards contributing to E-Governance in Cameroon via Digital Technology
Therefore, I- GLOBE and Partners will oversee the mobilization of Products manufacturers, Supermarkets and Shopping Malls, Consumers, Government, and Line Ministries, SME, Hi-Tech business platforms and service providers, UN Bodies, Embassies, EU, UNESCO, UNICEF, AFDB, The Media, Civil Society Organizations and Academia, to actively participate in the following platforms to mark the success of this initiative:
- The Go Digital Fair: This aims at demonstrating Cameroon’s Digital potentials by enterprises, businesses, and platforms involved in online service provision through virtual and physical exhibitions, that offers online promo services to build their online consumer base
- The Go Digital magazine: this aims at communicating and keeping stakeholders, policymakers, and citizens informed about the developments in the Cameroon digital space. The first edition focus on E-governance
- E-Governance Conference: this aims at engaging Stakeholders, Policymakers, and the international community to stimulate policy debate and formulation of Policy inquiry and Development Commission (PIDC) on E-Governance and Digital Cameroon as a whole.
